I’m harvesting tomatos and peppers daily now. so great!
Cucumber plants look healthy, but have been greedy with production.
Beetles are still a pain, but I think I’m winning with the help of Neem oil.
I need to start kale, collard, and other greens for the winter garden.

my bean varieties are a total wipeout from insects, obscene heat, and drought.
hybrid and heirloom tomatoes, melons, pumpkins, cucumbers, and corn still holding strong…
With the need to water everyday, I chose my battles and abandoned other crops weeks ago. seems like such a waste. more focused on keeping the beds themselves healthy, somewhat moist, and covered.. will worry about planting in them later.
I’m not even sure when to start my fall and winter gardens if the seasons continue to fuck with us.
but hey, these peppers smell amazing!!

fresh cilantro from my greenhouse. picking from the garden during an ohio winter never gets old. just cracked open the first jar of hungarian wax peppers that I canned this fall. I love hearing the seal pop.
